Laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 46 cases of gallbladder stones with liver cirrhosis

Objective To investigate the significance of laparoscopic cholecystectomy （LC） in the treatment of 47 cases of gallbladder stones with liver cirrhosis. Methods From June 2004 to June 2010, 47 cases of gallstone stones with liver cirrhosis received LC. The clinical data were analyzed retrospectively. The surgical indications and skills were summarized. Results LC was successfully performed on 45 patients. Two cases were converted to open cholecystectomy （OC）. The postoperative complications included ascites （2 cases） and leakage of gall （1 case）. There were no deaths and complications like function failure of liver and/or bile duct injury. Conclusion LC is feasible in gallstone disease patients of Child A and B with Liver cirrhosis.
