手术根治短面、方面及不对称面型

目的　研究非手术矫治短面、方面及不对称面型的可行性。探讨应用后牙牙合垫的医学美容价值。方法　以后牙牙合垫保守治疗短面、方面及不对称患者共 180例 ,观察治疗前后面型的变化。结果　矫治显效者 14 8例 ,占 82 .2 %。随访 3年以上 ,疗效稳定。结论　长期持续戴用后牙牙合垫 ,逐月调磨减薄 ,直至撤除。同时废止原偏侧咀嚼习惯 ,改用对侧咀嚼 ,可改善面部协调和对称性。此方法安全可行 ,且简便、经济、无副作用及年龄上限。

A clinicl study on the possibilities of facil contour of couture without plastic operation and investigation on the value of application of medical cosmetology with occlusal pad

Objective To study the possibilities of correction of conture without plastic operation and to investigate on the value of application of medical cosmetology with occlusal pad.Methods 180 cases rand omly with short face and square or bilateral unsymmetricl face were treated with occlusal pad. The occlusal pad and facial contour were examined and observed before and after the treatment.Results The notable effective rate is 82.2 %(148 cases). This method has achieved good and stable aesthetic results which is proved by the year follow-up. Conclusion Coordination and symmetry can be improved by continuously wearing occlusal pad (the thickness of which decreased gradually y occlusal adjustment once a month) and finally removing it as well as stopping hemichewing habit and changing it to chewing at the other side. The correction method is accepted by patients as it is safe, simple,economical without side effect , and upper limit of age.
