Study on risk factors of deep venous thrombosis in patients with upper limb fracture

Objective:To analyze the risk factors of deep venous thrombosis(DVT)in patients with upper limb fracture.Methods:The clinical data of 833 hospitalized patients with upper limb fracture were retrospectively analyzed.According to whether there was venous thrombosis,they were divided into thrombosis group(n=82)and non-thrombosis group(n=751).Results:The incidence of DVT was 9.84%.Logistic multivariate analysis showed that gender,age,BMI and humeral fracture were risk factors of DVT in patients with upper limb fracture,and the independent risk factors of postoperative DVT were preoperative waiting time,intraoperative blood transfusion,anesthesia mode(P<0.05).Conclusion:The medical staffs should understand the risk factors of DVT in patients with upper limb fracture,evaluate the high-risk groups in time,carry out effective nursing and intervention to prevent and reduce the occurrence of DVT.
