Analysis of the Correlation Factors of Hemorrhage Caused by Renal Biopsy

Objective]To explore the correlation factors of hemorrhage caused by renal biopsy guided by ultrasound and to analyze the causes of hemorrhage in order to decrease complications. Methods] American Bard 16G automatic biopsy equipment was used to perform ultrasound-guided renal needle biopsy on 520 pa- tients with renal diseases. The renal parenchyma thickness, the number of kidney puncture, blood pressure at renopuncture and the renal pathological change were analyzed. Results]In 520 renal biopsy, the renal paren- chyma thickness was 0.80~1.5 cm, and the number of kidney puncture was more than three times, and blood pressure was equal to or more than 140/90mmHg at renopuncture, and the incidence of hemorrhage was significantly increased（ P 〈0.05） in the patients with 50% ~60% sclerosis of total renal glomerulus. Conclusion] The hemorrhage cause d by renal needle biopsy is significantly related with the renal parenchyma thickness, the number of kidney puncture, blood pressure level at renopuncture and the degree of sclerosis in renal lesions.
