Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of positive empathy feedback combined with audiovisual transfer intervention on anxiety and treatment compliance in children with hyperthyroidism.Methods:A total of 108 children with hyperthyroidism admitted during June 1,2019 to December 31,2020 were selected as the study objects,and divided into the control group and the study group by the random number table method,with 54 cases in each group.The control group was given routine intervention,while the study group was given positive empathy feedback and audiovisual transfer intervention on the basis of routine intervention.Both groups received 1 month of intervention.The anxiety and functional status of children were compared by the Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorder and Karnofsky Performance Scale(KPS),respectively.Children′s compliance and satisfaction of their family members were evaluated.Results:After intervention,the scores for somatization/panic,generalized anxiety disorder,separation anxiety and social phobia in the two groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of diet compliance,medication compliance,follow-up compliance,sleep,diet,self-care ability,treatment compliance and mental status in the study group were higher than those before intervention,and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).In terms of service attitude,nursing skills,information notification and emotional experience,the family members′satisfaction scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Positive empathy feedback combined with audiovisual transfer intervention can effectively alleviate anxiety of children with hyperthyroidism,improve their treatment compliance and functional status,and increase nursing satisfaction of their family members.
