Abstract:Objective:To investigate the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens in patients with cerebral infarction complicated by urinary tract infection.Methods:Microbiological urine data was collected and reviewed retrospectively from the cerebral infarctionpatients with confirmed urinary tract infection who were treatedasinpatients in Guangdong Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospitalfrom June 2020 to September 2020.Results:A total of 214 nonduplicate pathogens were identified from 207 cerebral infarction patients.Gram-negative bacteriaaccounted for 66.4%(139/214),the mainly strains were:Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa;Gram-positive bacteria accounted for 31.3%(67/214),the main bacterial species were Enterococcus faecium and Enterococcus faecalis;fungus accounted for 3.7%(8/214).The ESBL-producing strains of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae respectivelyaccounted for 51.7%(30/58)and 45.8%(11/24).The detection rates of carbapenems resistance in Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were 5.2%(3/58),33.3%(8/24)and 26.3%(5/19),respectively.The high level of aminoglycoside resistant enterococcus(HLAR)was found to be more than 50%,and no enterococcusresistanted to vancomycin,teicolanin and linezolid were found.Conclusion:The pathogens of cerebral infarction complicated by urinary tract infection are mainly Gram-negative bacteria with high multiple drug resistance rate,so antimicrobial agents should be used legitimately according to drug sensitivity results in clinical treatment.
