Clinical efficacy of Shexiang Baoxin Pill in treatment of coronary mi-crocirculation disorders

Objective To explore the efficacy of Shexiang Baoxin Pill(麝香保心丸)on coronary microcirculation disor?ders(CMD).Methods From May 2018 to December 2020,111 patients diagnosed with coronary microcirculation dis?orders in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine,Binhai County People's Hospital,affiliated with Nanjing Medical University Kangda College,were randomLy divided into a control group(standard treatment)and an observation group(standard treatment plus Musk Heart Protection Pill),and the clinical symptoms were assessed by comparing the angina symptom scores,electrocardiogram changes,and nitroglycerin withdrawal reduction rate in the two groups.The remis?sion of clinical symptoms was assessed by comparing the angina symptom scores,electrocardiographic changes and ni?troglycerin withdrawal rate between the two groups.Endothelial function was also assessed by measuring serum nitric oxide(NO),serum endothelin-1(ET-1)and ultrasound brachial artery flow-mediated vasodilatation(FMD).Results The efficacy rate with regard to angina attack of the observation group was 71.40%,significantly higher than that of the control group(38.30%,P<0.05).The nitroglycerin discontinuation rateof the observation group was 92.90%,significant?ly higher than that of the control group(76.40%,P<0.05).The ECG improvement rate of the observation group was 73.21%,significantly higher than that of the control group(49.09%,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the FMD%before treatment between these 2 groups,and the FMD%after treatment of the observation group was(12.07±0.28)%,significantly higher than that of the control group(6.85±0.22)%,P<0.05].There was no significant difference in the values FMD%before and after treatment in the control group(P>0.05),and the value of FMD%after treatment of the observation group was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).There were no significant differenc?es in the levels of serum NO and ET-1 before treatment between these 2 groups(both P>0.05).The NO levels after treat?ment of these 2 groups were both significantly higher than those before treatment(both P<0.05).The NO level after treatment of the observation group was(69.50±0.46)μmol/L,significantly higher than that of the control group(59.07±0.46)μmol/L,P<0.05].The ET-1 levels after treatment of these 2 groups were both significantly lower than those be?fore treatment(both P<0.05).The ET-1 level after treatment of the observation group was(75.24±0.649)ng/L,signifi?cantly lower than that of the control group(92.87±0.686)ng/L,P<0.05].Conclusion Shexiang Baoxin Pill significantly alleviates the angina symptoms in patients with CMD.
