Comparative Study of the Detachment Psychotherapy and Sertraline in the Treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorders

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of the Detachment psychotherapy on anxiety disorders.Methods Fifth-four patients with generalized anxiety disorder were randomly assigned into the Detachment psychotherapy group（26 cases） and Sertraline group（28 cases）.Both groups were treated for 8 weeks.The patients were surveyed with S-TAL before and the end of treatment and the clinical effect were assessed at the end of treatment.Results After treatment,total scores of HAMA of both goups lowered more significantly compared with pretreatment,and those did more significantly in the Detachment psychotherapy group than those in the Sertraline group（t=3.06,2.8;P0.01）.After treatment,the scores of S-AI in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment（t=3.66 or 2.70,P0.01 or P0.05）.The scores of T-AI in the Detachment psychotherapy group were significantly difference than those in before treatment and Sertraline group（t=2.52 or 2.16,P0.05）.The selfsurvey efficacy in the Detachment psychotherapy was significantly differenct than that in Sertraline group（χ2=6.34,P0.05）.Conclusion The Detachment psychotherapy with drug may be a better choice to treat anxiety disorder,And it is positive to improve abnormal personality.
