Notch1 在胃癌组织中的表达及意义

目的比较不同病理特征的胃癌组织及癌旁正常黏膜组织中Notch1蛋白表达的差异,探讨Notch1蛋白在胃癌发生发展中的作用。方法用免疫组织化学方法检测54例胃癌组织标本和相应的54例正常胃黏膜组织中Notch1蛋白的表达。结果 Notch1蛋白在癌旁正常胃黏膜组织中表达较多,在早期胃癌组织和进展期胃癌组织中表达较少。Notch1蛋白在癌旁正常胃黏膜组织、早期胃癌组织和进展期胃癌组织中的阳性表达率分别为75.9%、57.9%和25.7%;进展期胃癌患者胃癌组织中Notch1蛋白阳性表达率低于早期胃癌和癌旁正常组织(P<0.05)。Notch1蛋白在胃癌组织中的表达与患者的性别、年龄、肿瘤大小、肿瘤部位无明显相关性(P>0.05),但与肿瘤分化程度、病理分期及淋巴结转移有显著相关性(P<0.05)。结论 Notch1蛋白表达降低可能与胃癌的发生发展及浸润和转移有关。

Expression of Notch1 in gastric carcinoma tissues

Objective To compare the expression of Notch1 protein in different pathological characteristic gastric carcinoma tissues and normal mucosal epithelium adjacent to the cancer tissues,and to investigate the role of Notchl protein in the development of gastric carcinoma.Methods The expression of Notch1 protein in fifty-four cases of gastric carcinoma and homologous normal mucosal tissue specimens were detected by immunohistochemical method.Results The expression of Notch1 protein in adjacent normal gastric mucosa tissues was low,but in early gastric carcinoma and advanced gastric carcinoma tissues was high.The positive rate in normal mucosal tissues,early gastric carcinoma tissues and advanced gastric carcinoma tissues was 75.9%,57.9% and 25.7%,respectively;the positive rate of Notch1 protein in advanced gastric carcinoma tissues was lower than that in normal mucosal tissues and early gastric carcinoma tissues(P<0.05).The expression of Notch1 protein was not correlative with gender,age,tumor size and the site of tumor(P>0.05);but it was significantly related to tumor differentiation,pathological stage and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion The decreased expression of Notch1 protein may be related to the occurrence,development,invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma.
