Proper understanding of the influence of mycoplasam infection on fertility

Objectives: To properly understand the influence of mycoplasma infection on fertility. Methods: Clinical and basic medical research findings were reviewed to summarize the relationship between mycoplasma infection and infertility. Results: Mycoplasma infection can pose some problems for fertility by affecting man or woman's urogenital system in various ways. Improper understanding can impede the diagnosis and treatment. Conclusion: Mycoplasma is a condition-specific pathogen, which may have some influence on fertility. Scientific attitude should be adopted in the diagnosis and treatment of mycoplasma infection.
