西地那非是一种具有高度选择性的磷酸二酯酶抑制剂,通过抑制第二信使cGMP的代谢,发挥其治疗作用。研究表明西地那非口服对多种类型的肺动脉高压具有较高疗效,且价格相对便宜,因此其治疗前景是令人鼓舞的。但对原发性心肌病及未根治的先天性心脏病效果不十分理想。

In the other hand, sildenafil is expensive comparely, so it is a bright tomorrow. But it has only low effect to myocarditis and CHD without treatment.
