Abstract:
Objective To explore the relationship between self-esteem development and interpersonal quality for junior high school students. Methods Adopting the self-respect scale and scale of the interpersonal quality of junior school student's psychological health,survey the students of three grades junior middle school separately. Results①The self-respect development for the junior school student of different grade had significant differences (F = 5.47,P = 0. 005 ) ;There was no significant gender difference for the self-respect development of junior high school students ②There was no significant difference in professional for the interpersonal quality of junior high school students There was significant gender difference in interpersonal quality for junior high school students (t =-2.08, P = 0. 038) ;③Self-respect total score were significantly positive correlation with interpersonal quality (r = 0.71, P = 0.00),interpersonal regulation (r = 0.43, P = 0.00) and control (r = 0.23, P = 0.00), the total score of self-respect was not cor related with interpersonal perception. Various dimensions of self-esteem were significantly correlated with interpersonal quality in all dimensions. Conclusion The self-esteem development and the interpersonal quality for junior high school students influence each other.
