| Abstract: | Introduction Carcinoid tumors are uncommon neoplasms in the diffuse peripheral endocrine system. Ovarian carcinoids are rare and can be primary or transplanted. Primary ovarian carcinoids make up approximately 0.5–1.7% of all carcinoid tumors. |
