| Abstract: | Three cases of cerebral ischemia as first manifestation of essential thrombocythemia were reported, with platelets counts lower than 700x10 9/L,which accounted for represented 0.58% of all patients with first stroke. Clinical characters of the disorder were that transient ischemic attacks(TIA) occurred repeatedly , and that multicentric cerebral infarcts were seen on CT and /or MRI. This disorder's pathognosis and tretment were discussed. |
