| Abstract: | Isolation and structure elucidation of two new compounds, kakispyrone (1) and kakisaponin A (2), together with 11 known compounds, from the leaves of Diospyros kaki L. are described. Their cytotoxic effects against several cancer cell lines (A549, HepG2 and HT29) are also reported. |
