| Abstract: | Functioned as the dominative nerve for sternocleidomastoid and trapezius muscle, accessory nerve plays a very important role in the movement of neck and shoulder. Its anatomic features provide important guidances in the operations such as the neck dissection and nerve repair. A summarization for anatomic features of accessory nerve and clinical significance of its injury is delivered. |
