Abstract: | We surveyed a group of 60 presbyopic subjects following eight weeks of monovision contact lens wear. The questions focussed on satisfaction with various aspects of visual performance, performance when driving, and general questions related to contact lens wear such as lens handling, care and maintenance and lens comfort. The subjects reported relatively high levels of satisfaction with visual performance, except in low light levels. Driving with monovision was also considered to be significantly worse at night than during daylight. Relatively few of the subjects had difficulties with lens handling, care and maintenance or lens comfort. |
