一种对斑点和条带信号进行半定量图像分析的简便方法

对多种斑点信号(如Dot Blot信号)和条带信号(如DNA/RNA电泳条带,Northern B1ot信号,Western B1ot信号及重组蛋白的原核表达条带等)进行定量或半定量的图像分析是分子生物学实验中的日常工作之一.经过与PD Quest、Quantity One等专业软件就Dot Blot、Northern Blot等图像的分析进行对比,发现NIH开发的免费图像分析软件ImageJ能够较为准确地对斑点和条带信号进行半定量分析,从而提出了一种简便的斑点和条带信号的半定量图像分析方案.

A SIMPLE METHOD FOR SEMI-QUANTITATIVE IMAGE ANALYSIS OF DOT AND BAND SIGNALS

Quantitative analysis of dot signal(such as Dot Blot image) and band signal(such as DNA/RNA electrophoresis gel image, Northern Blot image, Western Blot image and prokaryotic expression image of recombinant protein) is a routine work in the experiment of molecular biology. After carefully compared with two professional softwares, PD Quest for Dot Blot image and Quantity One for Northern Blot image, it is found that the free image analysis software ImageJ could be used for semi-quantitative image analysis. Furthermore, a protocol for semi-quantitative image analysis of dot and band signal image using ImageJ is introduced.
