蒲黄对家兔动脉粥样硬化病变消退的影响

本文报道实验性动脉粥样硬化家兔,只停高脂饲料改用普通饲料,动脉粥样硬化病变难以消退,但若改为普食的同时加用中药蒲黄,不仅血胆固醇迅速下降,而且主动脉壁胆固醇含量减少,病变程度减轻,认为蒲黄的这一作用。司能与增强单核—巨噬细胞功能有关。

When Pollen Typhae, a traditional Chinese herb medicine was added to the ordinary diet, the concentration of serum cholesterol dropped rapidly, the content of cholesterol in aortic intima decreased, and the atherosclerotic lesions were considerably less severe. We consider the effect of Pollen Typhae may be involved in the activation of monocyte/macrophage system.
