宁夏海原县农村老年人卫生服务需求与利用现况分析

目的了解宁夏海原县农村65岁以上老年人卫生服务需求与利用现状,探讨开展农村医疗服务与卫生保健工作的实施对策,为相关的政策制定者提供根据。方法通过分层随机抽样,采用入户调查的方式对宁夏海原县17个乡镇65岁及以上老年人的基本情况、患病及就诊等情况进行调查分析。结果海原县65岁以上老年人两周患病率为42.5%,就诊率为20.3%,两周患病未就诊率为67.8%;慢性病患病率为39.0%;住院率为26.1%,应住院未住院率为21.7%;未就诊和未住院的主要原因均为经济困难。结论海原县农村老年人卫生服务需要量大,但利用不足。

Demand and Utilization of Health Service Among the Elderly in Rural Areas of Haiyuan County in Ningxia

Objective To understand the current status of demand and utilization of health service of rural area among the elderly in Haiyuan,Ningxia.Methods An investigation on basic conditions,illness and treatment was made among the elderly.17 towns were selected with multi-stage random sampling and household survey were performed in Haiyuan,Ningxia.Results The two-week prevalence rate was 42.5%.Sick people who seeked medical care accounted for 20.3% of the total population.Chronic disease prevalence rate was 39.0%.The hospitalization rate was 26.1%.The sick people who did not seek medical care accountd for 67.8% of the sick population.Those who ought to be hospitalized but failed to do so accounted for 21.7% and the financial difficulty was the main reason.Conclusion The elderly have a high demand for health services in Haiyuan.However,the utilization of health services is at a low level.
