| Abstract: | The paeonol content in culture Cynanchum paniculatum was determined by ultra-violet spectrophotometry. The results showed that the paeonol contents of culture and wild fresh roots were about the same, and their contents were 3.71% and 3.88% respectively. With varied growth period, the paconol content is different. The rest period 2.33%, budding period 2.97%, flowering period 3.71% and fruit pcriod 3.39% were determined. The commercial sample 1.03% and the wild sample stocked more than 2 years 0.36% were determined as well. |
