Abstract:Objective:To investigate the values of peripheral blood BPC,MPV and PaIgG,bone marrow MK count and platelet-producing megakaryocyte(PPMK) rate to the prediction of therapeutic effectiveness in patients with ITP.Methods:73 Cases of ITP were included in this study.Coulter automatic blood cell analyzer was employed to measure the levels of BPC and MPV before and after treatments.PaIgG levels were tested by Sandwich ELISA with double antibodies.Results:BPC level and PPMK rate were lower in ITP group than those in normal control group( P<0.01 ).BPC was negatively correlated to MPV in normal control group( P<0.01 ).In the cases which demonstrated responses to steroid,the response time had no significant correlations to BPC,MPV of pre-treatment,MK count and PaIgG,while had negative correlations to MPV of pro-treatment and PPMK rate of pre-treatment.Conclusion:PPMK rate of pre-treatment and MPV of pro-treatment were related to the response time and therapeutic effectiveness of steroid.They would be considered as reference indexes for the prediction of therapeutic effectiveness in ITP patients.
