增殖细胞核抗原在脑膜瘤中的表达及其临床意义

目的　探讨增殖细胞核抗原 (PCNA)在脑膜瘤中的表达及临床意义。方法　随机选取 43例脑膜瘤标本 ,常规固定 ,石蜡包埋切片。采用LSAB法进行免疫组化染色 ,比较恶性组与良性组及非典型增生组之间同病理级别组之间、初发组与复发组之间PCNA标记指数的差异。结果　 43例脑膜瘤均有不同程度的PCNA阳性细胞表达。良性组、非典型组和恶性组的标记指数分别为 (8.2± 5 .4) %、(15 .6± 9.8) %和 (2 7.6± 10 .6 ) % ,3组间有显著性差异(P <0 .0 5 )。初发组与复发组的标记指数分别为 (15 .2± 5 .8) %和 (2 1.4± 7.6 ) % ,有显著性差异 (P <0 .0 5 )。结论　PCNA在脑膜瘤中的表达与肿瘤的恶性程度有关 ,其高表达提示复发的可能性大 ,预后不良。

Expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen in meningiomas and its clinical significance

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in meningiomas.Methods The PCNA labeling index was determined in 43 meningiomas chosen randomly by labbled streptavidin biotin method (LSAB) in routinely fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens.The difference of PCNA labeling index was compared in benign group, atypical group and malignant group, and so did between primary group and recurrent group. Results All of 43 patients with meningiomas demonstrated PCNA-positive cells in different extent. PCNA labeling index of benign group, atypical group and malignant group were (8.2±5.4)%,(15.6±9.8)% and (27.6±10.6)%, respectively(P<0.05).PCNA labeling index in primary group and recurrent group was (15.2±5.8)% and (21.4±7.6%) respectively(P<0.05).Conclusions The expression of PCNA in meningiomas is ralated to maglinancy. A high expression of PCNA in meningioma heralds a high-risk recurrence which predicts a poor outcome.
