| Abstract: | Objective To study the effect of music therapy on anxiety intervention for patients undergoing colonoscopy. Method Divide 100 patients undergoing colonoscopy into observation group and control group equally according to testing order. Patients in observation group receive routine nursing care. Patients in control group receive music therapy. Assess the anxiety level, fluctuation of heart rate and tolerance of discomfort before and during colonoscopy for patients in two groups. Result Blood pressure and heart rate of patient in observation group tend to be more stable. Tolerance of discomfort is higher and anxiety level is lower in observation group, P〈0. 01. Conclusion Music therapy can relieve anxiety for patients undergoing colonoscopy effectively. |
