Abstract: | ![]() Infections at the site of coronary stents are uncommon, and believed to be the result of either direct stent contamination at the time of delivery, or from transient bacteraemia from the access site. A case of pseudoaneurysm ("mycotic" aneurysm) of the left anterior descending coronary artery, due to infection with Staphylococcus aureus after paclitaxel-eluting stents implantation is presented. |
