Thirty-four patients went through a double-blind cross-over study. comparing flunisolide 200 μg per day with placebo. The symptoms were assessed over two treatment periods each of 4 weeks, with a 2 weeks washout period in between. There was a statistically significant difference on favour of flunisolide.
