PAI-1作为纤溶酶原活化过程的重要调节者,不仅影响血栓形成,而且还参与平滑肌细胞增殖迁移和血管重塑等病理过程,与动脉粥样硬化的发生、发展密切相关.

Abstract:
Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1)is a primary regulator of the fibrinolytic system.PAI-1 could affect not only the pathological process of thrombosis but also the process of proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells and vascular remodeing.It is closely connected with the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis.In this paper the research progress in the correlation between PAI-1 and atherosclerosis was reviewed.
