Abstract: | In a random sample of 492 girls 12-15-years-old total serum calcium appeared to be correlated with blood pressure. Adolescents with total serum calcium equal to a greater than the cohort mean (2.5 mmol/l) had higher systolic blood pressures than those with a value below the cohort mean. This was present at all ages. |
