Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of chemothera peutic drugs on cellular immunity in patients with lung cancer.Methods 46 patients of lung cancer were enrolled in the study. Alkaline phosphat a se anti-alkaline phosphatase(APAAP) assay was used to measure the T lymphocyte s ubsets and natural killer cell in peripheral blood before chemotherapy,a week af ter chemotherapy and two weeks after chemotherapy,and comparison to 20 nomal con trols was made.Results We found that:(1)The level of CD+3、 CD+4、CD+4/CD+8,NK cell in pafients of lung cancer were significantl y decreased compared with the control(P<0.001).(2)The level of CD+3、CD+ 4、CD+8.NK cell after chemotherapy was all decreased compared with that befo re chemotherapy respectively(P<0.001),however the level of CD+4/CD+8 aft er chemtherapy was significantly increased compared with that before chemotherap y (P<0.001). Conclusions The cell immunity is inhibited in patients of lung cancer moreover is impared considerably by chemotherapy,however at the same tim e chemotherapy can regulate the immunefunction as immunomodulator.
