Effect of Cook Cervical Dilatation Balloon and Oxytocin in Induced Labor

Objective To observe and analyze the effect of cook cervical dilatation balloon and oxytocin in induction of labor.Methods From June 2019 to May 2020,148 full-term pregnant women received by our hospital were rando mLy divided into the reference group and the study group with 74 cases in each group.The reference group adopted oxytocin induction and the study group adopted cook cervical dilatation balloon induction.The cervical maturity,the time of labor,the outcome of labor induction and the outcome of newborn were compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference in cervical maturity score between the two groups(P>0.05).The cervical maturity score of the study group was higher than that of the reference group,and the time of each labor process was shorter than that of the reference group.The success rate of induction was 77.03%,higher than that of the reference group(62.16%),the vaginal delivery rate was 68.92%higher than that of the reference group(51.35%),the cesarean section rate was 31.08%,lower than that of the reference group(47.30%),and the neonatal distress rate was 51.35%.The incidence was 5.40%,lower than 17.57%in the reference group,the incidence of neonatal asphyxia was 1.35%,lower than 12.16%in the reference group,and the Apgar score of the newborn was higher than that in the reference group.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of cook cervical dilation balloon in induction of full-term pregnant women is conducive to promoting cervical maturity,shortening the labor process,improving the success rate and the rate of induced labor,and ensuring a good maternal and infant outcome.
