The changes of cell immune function in patients with non-Hodgdin''''s lymphoma by flow cytometry analysis

Objective: To investigate cell immune function of patients with non - Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL ).Method: Peripheral blood T cell subsets, NK, CD19 B cell and mIL-2R in 21 patients with NHL and 35 normal con-trols were detected quantitatively with FCM- Result: 1) The number of CD3, CD4 T cell and mlL - 2R markedly re-duced, while those of CD8 T cells increased with a reduction of CD4/CD8 ratio in untreated or relapse patients. Therewere no significant change in T cell subsets and mIL-2R in patients with clinical remission. 2) The number of CD19 Bcell in all patients were much lower than those in normal controls. 3) There were no significant change in NK cells inpatients with clinical remission or relapse except a reduction in untreated patients- Conclusion: NHL patient's cell im-mune function, including T cell subsets, NK, CD19 B cell and mIL- 2R, were depressed. The changes were related tothe tumor stages.
