| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the influence of integrated care on new recruits dry eye following laser in situ keratomileusis（LASIK）surgery. Methods Forty six new recruits （92 eyes） suffered from dry eye after LASIK were cared by comprehensive methods including guidance of medication, psychological nursing and physiotherapy. The effect was evaluated by Dry Eye Questionaire. Results The common syndromes of dry eye including dryness, redness, foreign body sensation and soring. After the care, the symptoms were alleviated and the tear break-up time, Schirmer＇s test, fluorescein staining of the cornea were improved. Conclusion Integrated care is a potent mean in the management of dry eye after laser in situ keratomileusis on new recruits. |
