| Abstract: | The effect of ketamine on the uptake of 3H-noradrenaline inthe isolated perfused rat heart was studied. A dose-dependentinhibition of uptake by both neuronal and extraneuronal processeswas found. These effects may account for the positive chronotropicand pressor effects of the drug. |
