| Abstract: | This article is to report the results of B-mode ultrasonographic examination of 50 cases with adrenal tumours, which were confirmed by operation and pathology. The ultrasonographic diagnosis was proved correct 88%. Various acoustic image features are described in detail. The diagnostic value of ultrasonography for localization and nature of adrenal tumours and differentiation are discussed. The cause of misdiagnosis and the problems deserving of attention are mentioned. Compared with other video examination, B-mode ultrasonography is the first choice to diagnose adrenal tumuors. |
