Compliance rate and safety of felodipine sustained release tablets in the treatment of hypertension

Objective To explore the compliance rate and safety of felodipine sustained release tablets in the treatment of hypertension.Methods A total of 120 patients with essential hypertension treated in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects.The patients were randomly divided into routine group and observation group according to single and double numbers,with 60 cases in each group.The routine group was given routine hypertension treatment,and the observation group was given felodipine sustained release tablets on the basis of routine hypertension treatment.The blood pressure control,ambulatory blood pressure,heart rate(HR),total cholesterol(TC),blood glucose(BS),endothelin-1(ET-1),nitric oxide(NO),intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1)levels and adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total compliance rate of blood pressure control in the observation group was higher than that in the routine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the 24 h mean blood pressure,daytime mean blood pressure and nighttime mean blood pressure in the two groups decreased,those in the observation group were lower than the routine group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,the 24 h HR in the observation group was lower than that in the routine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,there were no significant differences in the levels of TC and BS between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the levels of ET-1 and ICAM-1 decreased and NO increased in the two groups,those in the observation group were better than the routine group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse drug reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the routine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Felodipine sustained release tablets can significantly improve the compliance rate of blood pressure control in patients with hypertension,improve the ambulatory blood pressure and vascular endothelial function level,and reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
