Analysis of influencing factors of neonatal congenital hypothyroidism

Objective To analyze the influencing factors of neonatal congenital hypothyroidism.Methods Seventy-five newborns diagnosed with cogenital hypothyroidism were selected as case group,and 125 healthy newborns were included as control group.The clinical data of newborns and parturients in the two groups were investigated by questionnaire.The influencing factors of neonatal congenital hypothyroidism were explored by univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis.Results The multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age,education level,adverse psychology during pregnancy,pregnancy complicated with thyroid disease and high iodine diet during pregnancy were the risk factors of neonatal congenital hypothyroidism,while using progesterone according to doctors'advice was the protective factor(P<0.05).Conclusion Maternal age,education level,adverse psychology during pregnancy,pregnancy complicated with thyroid disease and high iodine diet during pregnancy can induce the occurrence of neonatal congenital hypothyroidism.Improving prenatal screening,reasonable diet and using progesterone according to doctors'advice can reduce the risk of neonatal congenital hypothyroidism.
