护理本科生护理专业英语课程设置需求分析

摘    要:目的分析统招本科护生与独立学院本科护生对护理专业英语课程设置的需求,旨在发现问题,为护理专业英语课程的设置与教学改革提供依据,以提高教学效果,为培养国际化高素质护理人才奠定基础。方法自行设计调查问卷,对800名在校本科护生进行调查,分析统招与独立学院本科护生英语水平、自我英语能力评价、对护理专业英语课程的总体态度、学习动机与目的、对课程设置与教学方式、教材与教师选用的需求等。结果独立学院与统招本科护生对课时、学习策略及教师的需求基本相同,差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05);而对课程设置、班级规模、授课形式、英文授课比例、教学内容及教材的需求存在不同,差异具有统计学意义(Z=-3.617,-4.039,-2.682,-2.565,-2.876,-3.174;P〈0.05);独立学院本科护生的英语水平(29.4%CET4、5.7%CET6)较统招本科护生(51.6%CET4、13.0%CET6)低(x2分别为12.953,12.281;P均〈0.01),学习动机与目的的层次低(Z=-5.832,-1.976;P〈0.05),对英文原版教材的需求独立本科护生(42.9%)较统招本科(60.2%)低(Z=-2.723,P〈0.01)。结论统招本科护生对护理专业英语课程的学习兴趣和信心不足。护理专业英语的课程设置、教学方式、教材选用有待深入改革,教师专业英语教学水平有待提高,护生的学习兴趣和信心有待提高。独立学院本科护生的学习动机与目的有待提高。、

Abstract:Objective To analyze the undergraduate nursing students' needs of the course installation of Nursing English, to provide reform basis for course offering, to promote teaching effect and lay the foundation for culturing high-quality nursing staff. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the needs of the course installation of Nursing English in 800 undergraduate nursing students. Survey contents included English level, self-assessment of english capability, total attitude, studying motivation, course installation needs, and so on. The data was analyzed by SPSS 15.0. Results The needs of class time, learning strategy and teachers were alike ( P 〉 0. 05 ), but the needs of course installation, class extent, proportion of english teaching, teaching contents and teaching material were different in students from different source (Z = - 3. 617, - 4. 039, - 2. 682, - 2. 565, - 2. 876, - 3. 174 ; P 〈 0. 05 ). The current english level of independent college students (29.4% CET4, 5.7% CET6) was lower than those of undergraduate nursing students admitted from entrance examination (51.6% CET4, 13.0% CET6), and Chi-square values were 12. 953 and 12. 281 (P 〈0. 01 ) ; the learning motivation and objective was also lower ( Z = - 5. 832, - 1. 976 ; P 〈 0. 05 ) ; the need for original teaching material was significantly lower (42.9% vs 60. 2% ; Z = - 2. 723, P 〈 0. 01 ). Conclusions Learning interesting and confidence of english course of undergraduate students is insufficient and need to be raised. Course installation, teaching methods and learning material need to be reformed and the specialized english level of teachers needs to be increased. Learning motivation and objective of independent college should be improved.
