| Abstract: | This paper is to present symptom scoring, a new method for evaluating patients with lumbar disc protrusion quantitatively. 12 patients receiving comprehensive rehabilitation intervention were evaluated iwth this method and the lumbago scoring proposed by Fairbank. Statistic analysis showed that the results from the 2 kind of evaluations were very close to each other. It suggested that symptom scoring can be used for functional and outcome evaluation in patients with lumbar disc protrusion. |
