| Abstract: | [Objective]To explore the change of the expression of claudin-1 in the pathogenesis of squamous cancer of lung and its significance. [Methods] Totally 46 paraffin-embedding samples of lung squamous cancer and 22 normal lung samples were collected. The expression of elaudin-1 gene was detected by immuno histochemistry. The correlation between claudin-1 expression and metastasis of lung squamous cancer was analyzed by statistics. [Results] Compared to the normal lung tissue, the expression of claudin-1 was markedly increased in squamous cancer of lung. In addition, elevated claudin-1 expression was positively associated with the metastasis of lung squamous cancer. [Conclusion]Claudin-1 is highly expressed in lung squamous cancer and correlated with the metastasis of lung squamous cancer. |
