Analysis of Risk Factors of the Abnormality of Alanine Transaminase in Male University Students Without Fatty liver in the Urban of Qinhuangdao City

[Objective]To investigate the related factors of the abnormality of alanine transaminase（ALT） in male university students without fatty liver. [Methods] A total of 182 male university students without fatty liver and hepatitis were enrolled. Liver dysfunction was defined as ALT〉 30u/L. The height, weight, waist circumference（WC） and blood pressure were measured. The body mass index（BMI） was calculated. AI.T, triglyceride（TG）, cholesterol（TC）, fasting blood glucose（FBG） and serum true insulin index（TI） were detected. [Results] Among 182 cases, ALT increased in 39 cases（21. 43%） in which BMI, WC and TG were higher than those in the normal ALT group, and HDLC was lower than that in normal ALT group（P〈0. 05）. ALT had univariate correllation with BMI（r =0. 358, P=0. 000）, WC（r：0. 438, P =0. 000）, TG（r = 0.256, P =0.000）, TI（r =0.174, P =0.001） and HOMAIR（r =0.189, P =0.000）. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that WC（β= 0.443, P=0.000） and TG（β=7.628, P =0.003） were theindepend . ent risk factors of the increasing of ALT. [Conclusion]WC and TG are correlated with the liver dysfunction in male university students without fatty liver. High TG and abdomen-type obesity are the risk factors of liver dysfunction.
