Abstract: | ![]() At pH 13, the glycoprotein surface projections of vesicular stomatitis virus are removed in a single structure which sediments at 200 S. At pH 1.5, the nucleoprotein core separates from the viral envelope, which is composed of glycoprotein projections and membrane proteins. |
