| Abstract: | Objective To compare the incidence of urinary fistula and urethral stricture after Snodgrass hypospadias repair and Duckett hypospadias repair.Methods PubMed,Embase,Cochrane,Chinese Knowledge Infrastructure(CKNI)and Wanfang databases were retrieved by computer.The cut-off date was March 1,2020.The relevant literatures were collated following the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.The data of the included literatures were analyzed using RevMan 5.3.Results A total of 624 patients were recruited in 7 studies.Meta-analysis exhibited that the incidence of postoperative urinary fistula[OR=0.49,95%CI(0.28,0.86),P=0.01],and urethral stricture[OR=0.26,95%CI(0.16,0.78),P=0.009]in the S group was lower than that in the T group.Conclusion The incidence of infection and ureteral stricture after Snodgrass hypospadias repair is lower than that after Duckett hypospadias repair. |
