Abstract:
Objective To explore the high-risk factors and preventive measures for incarceration of intrauterine device(IUD).Methods 112 patients with IUD incarceration admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to August 2019 were selected as observation group,and 96 women without IUD incarceration during the same period were selected as control group.The general status,medical history,history of IUD use and other clinical data were compared between the two groups,and the risk factors of IUD incarceration were analyzed by multivariate stepwise Logistic regression analysis.Results The types of IUDs,dysmenorrhea,gynecological inflammation,IUD carrying time and pregnancy during IUD were all independent risk factors for IUD incarceration(P<0.05).Conclusion The occurrence of IUD incarceration is closely related to many factors.When placing the IUD,it is necessary to consider the overall status of women to select appropriate IUD type,strengthen the postoperative observation and follow-up,treat the gynecological inflammation in time,and replace the IUD in time according to its use years so as to reduce incarceration.
