To observe the effect of dexmedetomidine combined with sufentanil on postoperative analgesia and sedation of colon cancer

Objective To investigate the analgesic and sedative effects of dexmedetomidine combined with sufentanil.Methods A total of 120 patients undergoing radical resection of colon cancer under general anesthesia admitted to our hospital from February 2018 to February 2019 were selected as the research subjects,and they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table,with 60 cases in each group.All patients were given conventional colon cancer resection.The control group received sufentanil for analgesia,and the observation group received dexmedetomidine combined with sufentanil for analgesia.The postoperative pain degree,the degree of sedation,and the pain sensitive area of incision stimulation were compared between the two groups.Results The VAS scores of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group at 1,6,12,24,and 48 hours after surgery(P<0.05),and the VAS scores of both groups were highest within 6 to 12 hours after surgery.The Ramsay scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group at 1,6,12,24,and 48 hours after surgery(P<0.05),and the Ramsay scores of the two groups were the lowest within 6 to 12 hours after surgery.The sensitive area of incision stimulation pain in the observation group was significantly smaller than that in the control group at 24,48,and 72 hours after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine combined with sufentanil for postoperative analgesia of colon cancer patients has better analgesic and sedative effects and is worthy of clinical promotion.
