Abstract: | ![]() The Less Invasive Stabilization System (LISS; Synthes; Paoli, PA) is a newly developed locking plate that has been used for fixation of distal femoral supracondylar and proximal tibial fractures. The early clinical results have been encouraging; however, there is little information available on the removal of these implants. Frequent stripping of the locking screws has been found by our group when removal is attempted. Our approach to this problem is described. |
