Polymere Elektron-Donator-Akzeptor-Komplexe. II. Über die Reaktion von Poly-4-vinylpyridin mit Tetracyanäthylen in verdünnter Lösung

The viscosity of poly(4-vinylpyridine) in solution is strongly influenced by added tetracyanoethylene. The viscosities measured show time dependence. At low polymer concentrations or at low concentrations of monomeric electron acceptor they tend toward constant values whereas at higher concentrations viscosity maxima are observed after which the polymeric electron donor acceptor complex separates. The viscosity curves are compared with the UV spectra.
