Abstract:NF IL6, a nuclear factor for interleukine 6 expression, is a member of C/EBP family It plays an important role in gene regulation of inflammation, differenciation, acute phase reaction, forming of cytokine net, tumoregenesis and apoptosis In this report, we fused GST gene to NF IL6 gene and recombinantly expressed it in E coli The produced protein can bind to NF IL6 binding motif determined with Gel Retardation Assay In addition, we found that recombinant protein formed inclusion body , although the expression level was low
