Evaluation of therapeutic effect of radiofrequency closure on the great saphenous varices under the guidance of color Doppler ultrasound

Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of radiofrequency closure on the great saphenous varices under the guidance of color Doppler ultrasound.Methods:52 patients(71 affected limbs)who underwent radiofrequency closure on great saphenous varices were selected as the research object.All of patients underwent routinely Color ultrasound examination at preoperative 1 day,and the hemodynamics of vein was assessed.And they underwent color Doppler ultrasound examination at the 2 th week,the 3 th months and the 12 th months post operation.And the pre and postoperative hemodynamics of vein of the affected limb were understood through observed twodimensional sonogram.Results:The closure rate of the trunk of the great saphenous varices of 52 patients reached to 97.18%(69/71)at the 2 th week after the operation.And that reached to 97.18%(69/71)at the 3 th month after operation,and only one was recanalization at the 12 th month after operation.Conclusion:Color Doppler ultrasound has guidance value in the operation of radiofrequency closure of great saphenous varices,and it has important clinical value in the applications of the grading of postoperative efficacy and follow-up.
