Microneedle-roller Combined with Collagen Dressing in the Treatment of Facial Photoaging:a split-face study

Objective To evaluate clinical efficacy and safety of microneedle-roller combined with collagen dressing for the treatment of facial photoaging.Methods This study included 26 subjects who met the criteria for facial photoaging,with symmetrical facial photoaging on both sides.The control group was treated with collagen dressing alone,and the treatment group was treated with microneedle-roller combined with collagen dressing.A total of 3 courses were treated with an interval of 2 weeks.Results The results of GAIS score showed that in the evaluation of the improvement of skin texture,pores and wrinkles,the improvement rates of the treatment group were 94.4%,94.4%and 97.4%respectively,and the improvement rates of the control group were 83.3%,77.8%and 83.3%.At the end of the treatment,the pore and texture scores in the VISIA test results of both sides of the face were significantly improved compared to the previous ones,and the difference between the two sides was significantly compared(P<0.05).Conclusions The microneedle-roller combined with collagen dressing has a positive effect on improving photoaging skin and realizing facial rejuvenation,especially on the improvement of pores and texture.It has good safety and is worthy of clinical promotion and further research.
