农村社区肥胖患病率的分布及其危险因素-PolyPLIN研究

[目的]了解某农村社区肥胖患病率的分布及其危险因素,为肥胖的干预计划提供基础数据。[方法]在河南省选择两个农村社区,以村(组)为单位,随机抽取18岁及以上的居民,调查肥胖的患病率分布及其危险因素。[结果]超重、全身性肥胖与腹型肥胖的年龄标化患病率分别为28.75%、13.71%和40.36%,男性显著高于女性,且随年龄的增加呈现逐渐升高趋势。调整人口学特征后显示肥胖家族史是全身性肥胖和腹型肥胖的共同危险因素,而重体力活动是腹型肥胖的保护因素,吸烟则与全身性肥胖呈负关联。[结论]超重和肥胖患病率在农村地区已经达到相当高的水平,成为农村地区重要的公共卫生问题。科学的生活方式是预防和控制农村地区肥胖发病、提高农村居民生活质量的重要措施。

STUDY ON THE PREVALENCE AND RISK FACTORS OF OBESITY IN RURAL COMMUNITIES

[Objective]To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of obesity in the rural communities and to provide baseline data for the prevention and control of obesity.[Methods]Participants aged over 18 years old were selected randomly by cluster sampling from two rural communities.A cross-sectional study with questionnaire interview and physical examination were conducted for all participants.[Results]The age-adjusted prevalence rates for overweight,general obesity,and abdominal obesity were 28.75%,13.71%,and 40.36%,respectively,and increased significantly with age.General and abdominal obesity were more prevalent among female compared with male.Family history was the risk factor for both general and abdominal obesity after adjustment for demographic variables,however,physical activities were protective factors for abdominal obesity and smoking was negatively associated with general obesity.[Conclusion]The prevalence rates of overweight and obesity have reached an epidemic level and obesity has been an important public health problem in rural communities.Intervention programs for overweight and obesity are eagerly needed in rural China.
